Meet the team
Image & Form is made up of more than a dozen brilliant, childish and mostly overaged individuals who haven’t got a clue what they’re going to be when they grow up. We’d love to hear from you if think you’ve got what it takes to work with us!
Agnes Mikucka
Agnes dreams of soaring the skies as a magical unicorn but would never admit it to your face. Her biggest fandom (besides comics and Nintendo) is the paving-stone behind her desk.
Amanda Oliver Elm
Always barefoot, always doodling, always productive, and despite all this constantly playing Dungeons & Dragons. Impossible, you say? Never say never. Everything is possible when you’re the spitting image of Justin Bieber.
Björn Håkansson
Our own Mr. Feelgood and self-appointed prophet of Polygonus, the all-mighty god of game development. Björn likes to paint small figurines and to hang out with other nerds playing board games.
Brjánn Sigurgeirsson
Our Glorious Leader, Brjann, has at least three more children than anyone else in the office. Loves chess, and keeps the impending doom of middle age at bay by singing - and posing - in a rock band. He also handles PR and marketing like a boss (get it?).
Jakob Wahlberg
Draws, animates and speaks in a warm, wholesome accent, which has everyone fooled. The very definition of a hipster dude: sourdough, old man’s cap, rolled-up jeans - the works. Sucks at chess.
Jarl Larsson
Grew up in a Swedish forest, and decided Gothenburg is a good place for curing cabin fever. Some of it apparently lingers, since he‘s at his happiest when doing things that don’t necessarily involve the presence of other people: Game jams, drawing, watching movies and gorging on sci-fi literature.
Julius Guldbog
Looks like Harry Potter, sounds like Barry White and writes like your favorite author. Says he does actual work when all we see him do is tweeting and putting together funny videos on his fancy computer. Tweeting for a living? Sure sounds fishy to us!
Magnus Martinsson
Back on mother soil after almost a decade of programming (or so he says) in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, Magnus is having a hard time adjusting to the diminished balminess of Gothenburg, but also to the prices of suddenly-exotic fruits. Stays away from scary movies, and scratches big-name travel destinations off his bucket list like there’s no tomorrow.
Marco Podda
Has grown a thick beard in order to come across as knowledgeable and trustworthy. Takes care of the all-important details at Image & Form, such as things, stuff and doodads.
Markus Månsson
Our only clear-cut level designer, which makes him the most attractive person in the office at all times. Speaks in a perfectly understandable, exotic and superior-sounding southern drawl that is only mildly insulting. Laughs a lot in the same dialect.
Office dogs
Domesticated carnivorous mammals with long snouts, acute senses of smell, non-retractile claws, and barking, howling, or whining voices. Feed on whatever they can find in our trash cans. Basically the best friends we could ever ask for.
Ola Frid
Has yet to experience a sunrise, and is not convinced that the world exists prior to 9 AM. Surprisingly loving towards plants, and looks good in ski hats.
Olle Håkansson
AKA "Dr. No" or "The Guy In Charge". A bit like Chairman Mao: Looks friendly, sounds friendly, smiles a lot - and rules with an iron fist. When not busy making games, he makes other games.
Peter Broqvist
Good-looking, soft-spoken, remarkably intelligent and kind towards children. Peter divides his time between writing story arcs and dialogue, rigging characters, and polishing this very paragraph.
Peter Johansson
Heroic, athletic, brave... these are not words that describe Peter. But what he lacks in those areas, he makes up for with inextinguishable enthusiasm for meaningless trivia, historical footnotes, and last-century video game consoles - and a vexing tendency to talk your ears off about those subjects if given half a chance.
Pelle Cahndlerby
Pelle is a man of very many talents. He’ll happily rattle them off to you, but doing so usually takes so long that few people ever get a grip on what he actually does. We *think* he makes very cool music and writes corny, far-fetched in-game dialogue and texts. If you have other information, please let us know.
Robert Olsén
Still has the oldest computer, the smallest screen, the dirtiest keyboard and sits in the farthest corner of the office. Has as a form of revenge forced everyone to participate in all kinds of dubious board-game activities after hours.
Tobias Nilsson
Self-proclaimed Caliph of Quality at the office. The city of Gothenburg named a tramcar after him. Snowboarding and a hard life has made him look like an old bum, but he’s actually only twelve.
Ulf Hartelius
Indie enough to make all other indie developers look like Disney. Sports long hair, owns a half-dozen cats, loves faraway places and only listens to very good music.
