SteamWorld Celebrates its 10th Anniversary

Holy smokes! It’s been ten years since SteamWorld Tower Defense?! That’s hard to believe, yet 2010 feels like a lifetime ago. I mean, phones still had physical keyboards back then, and YouTube’s most-watched videos included The Double Rainbow guy and Justin Bieber. Time flies!

For the past decade, the steambots have jumped, run, dug deep, slain dragons, and even taken to space! They couldn’t have done it without you and millions of players like yourself. On behalf of the steambots and everyone on the SteamWorld team: Thanks for your help!

Let’s Celebrate a Decade of SteamWorld!

To celebrate, we’re officially launching the SteamWorld 10th Anniversary today. While we don’t have new game announcements, we will release a few collectors items as part of the festivities. The following items are available right now (even more are on the way):

SteamWorld Tower Defense: “Reimagined”

“SteamWorld Tower Defense: Reimagined” Soundtrack: As of today, you can purchase a limited edition 7“ vinyl record with two reimagined songs from the first game in the series: SteamWorld Tower Defense. It sounds EXACTLY as it looks. Visit the Thunderful Shop to get your hands on it!
